Candoris Ranks 10th Best Place to Work in PA for Small Companies

At Central Penn Business Journal’s Best Places to Work in PA 2018 event on November 29th, companies across the state were recognized as being truly wonderful places to go to work every day. Candoris ranked 10th place among small companies comprised of less than 100 staff, up from 15th in 2017.

“We have an amazing team here at Candoris. While the company itself strives to create lasting value through fellowship and innovation, it’s really up to each individual member to uphold this mission and company culture,” says Stephan Van Der Ploog, Candoris President and Chief Accountability Officer. “I’m thankful to them for being here, being authentically themselves, and for making this company a great place to work.”

Created in 2000, the program recognizes a positive and enriching workplace culture. It is one of the first statewide programs of its kind in the country, and is a public/private partnership between Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Central Penn Business Journal. To qualify for inclusion, employers submit detailed data on company policies, practices, benefits, and demographics. Employees then complete an in-depth survey rating their company on numerous aspects. Winning companies are notified by email and given their exact ranking at the Best Places to Work in PA annual event.
