Account Executive – Northern NJ
A Candoris Account Executive will focus on cultivating business in medium to enterprise markets, across commercial, K-12, and higher education verticals in the Northern New Jersey area territory. Partnering with industry-leading manufacturer Dell Technologies, with the support of their dedicated engineering team, you’ll discover, design, and deploy solutions in the areas of Data Storage, Virtualization, Cloud Services, Data Protection, Networking, Business Continuity, and Security. Travel within the territory will be required.
Job Territory/Position Location:
Northern New Jersey area (Home Office)
- Develop business through, but not limited to, cold calling, conducting in-person meetings, and partnering with vendors.
- Maintain a targeted understanding of customers’ business showing the ability to establish customer needs, buying cycles, and creating strong relationships to effectively drive sales and repeat business.
- Understand the business challenges created by the technical requirements the client faces.
- Adhere to sales process and Sandler sales methodology.
- Build a pipeline of opportunities that meets or exceeds set goals.
- Meet or exceed set sales gross profit and revenue goals.
Desired Skills, Experience and Metrics
- 3+ years technology sales experience with demonstrated performance history of 100%+ to sales quota
- Strong knowledge of data center technologies, including data storage, server, virtualization, networking & security
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM usage
- Critical skills required include account planning with an extended team, calling at all levels within a customer’s organization, and managing partner relationships
- Be an aggressive self-starter
